New Beginning Sanctuary

We are a 12 month or more NARR accredited, 501c3 sober living program offering multiple pathways to recovery. We have faith based, secular, treatment , AA/NA/CA, Smart recovery, Medically assisted treatment, animal assisted just to name a few of our accepted pathways. We have 23 homes in Springfield, Joplin and Kansas City. We have a community center that offers prosocial activities like float trips, laser tag, pool outings etc. Recovery is a lifestyle so we want people enjoying and embracing a new thought process and mindset. We are a Missouri DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH “OUTSTANDING PERFORMER OF THE YEAR” award winner. Our homes are just that, they are homes! Each home has a manager and an assistant manager and they truly operate as a family unit. Attending meetings, go to worship and outings and cook meals together! Our clients make life long friends in our program, learn accountability, learn to make better decisions, learn to live a better life and become productive members of society who give back to our community! All our homes are on bus lines so moving through the city is possible. We encourage clients to work, pay them their own way and require everyone to pass life skills and budgeting classes prior to graduation. To successfully complete a client must be with us for at least 12 months, however we have some that have stayed with us for over 4 years because they found a sense of family. We promote all our managers from within, so they will never require you to do something they weren't willing to do themselves and understand how you feel because they have all been there.
